Diamanté Stilettos & Bone Marrow
I remember back in 1989, when I became friends with an eccentric lady with an extraordinary story. We met in her fashion vintage shop, where she explained how she healed cancer in her bone marrow (of her femur) after being told she had just weeks to live. Doctor's and her family were astonished when she got rid of her cancer by a fasting method known as
The Grape Cure.
I would visit her for afternoon tea in her home and I would listen for hours to her stories in fascination. I still have the delicate pair of 1950’s diamanté stilettos I’d bought from her all those years ago!
Beauty & The Stars
At this time, I was studying Beauty, Holistic Massage & Aromatherapy before my life took a more creative turn into the world of Art & Design which was unexpected, but it led me to The London College of Fashion where I studied Fashion Styling & Make-Up.
This more creative path took me into the world of fashion as a make-up artist to the stars and supermodels, while at the same time I continued my love for holistic massage aromatherapy, being intrigued and drawn to women who healed themselves from some type of illness.
As a creative, I was previously a make-up artist in fashion whilst teaching yoga for over 2 decades. Today my focus is on working from the inside out, bringing shadows into the light for deep healing and truth.
Dark, Light & In Between
I loved creating gorgeous flawless skin when I was a make-up artist to the stars, working with the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Erin O'Connor, Kristen McMenamy and Celebrity Chef Nigella Lawson (to name a few). And fortunate to work on-team with photographers Tim Walker.
I found the process like meditation, starting with layers of foundation, blending colours and highlighting to create a fresh yet seamless, natural look. But as we know beauty emanates from within and today my focus is on uncovering the layers of life, working from the inside out, bringing shadows out into the light so you can see your own beauty.
Whilst in the professional life parallel to this my personal healing story began when I attended my first yoga class in 2002. Silly as it sounds, in my very first session I was struck by the realisation that I wasn’t breathing properly, which led to almost 2 decades of practising Tibetan Rebirthing Therapy.
It was at this point in my life that I started to became more aware of my own transformations that were coming to light through various practices of yoga, meditation and alternative healing therapies.
Ayurveda, Womb & Mantra
Dear friend & teacher of kundalini yoga
Anayia Sophia Mystic & Founder of Sacred Body Awakening introduced me to kundalini around 2003. We later embarked on a healing journey together through another Tibetan practise called
Womb Pulsing.
In 2004 the purpose of my second visit to India was to complete my first teacher training with Sivinanda and then I visited India every year until 2011 immersing myself in esoteric wisdoms of yoga, psychology and philosophical studies. I would find myself in rare opportunities such as receiving a mantra from a
white tantra master, Guruji, during the Maa Festival Puja (ceremony), in retreat. It was another insight that showed me the vast world of subtle healing but this time through
Ayurveda and meditation.
Journey of Truth
The notion of truth began revealing itself through what is now seen or known as different lenses and levels of understanding. I met Sahajananda, my Dearest friend, meditation teacher, and founder of Hridaya Yoga, in 2012. He imparted teachings and philosophical, traditional spiritual principles of classical yoga alongside other esoteric tradition
My training in Mexico with Sahajanda gifted significant benefits and change from months in meditation, exploring practices of Dark therapy
discovering new terrains within this matter of body and mind. Once going beyond the conscious mind, I started experiencing new sights. What began as suffering became an art of transmuting everyday known and unknown thoughts that may be harmful into creative, positive living. Realising deep contentment and inner peace is available.
Shakti Rising
During my time in Mexico with Sahajananda I came to know beautiful
Antoenta Goeta who showed me how to communicate with my body as a woman through the connection of the divine feminine spirit. This subtle experience offered confidence with language of the soul because of this we collaborate with weekend workshops to women across Liverpool.
